This foundational course is open to practitioners of the healing arts. Admission is by application only. Enrollment is limited and we maintain a maximum of five students per teacher throughout the class.

Nursing Continuing education  hours available. Provider approved by the Cal. Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 12248 for 28 contact hours.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Foundations  and Practices
This class explores the philosophical and practical foundations of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy.


The concepts originate in the osteopathic tradition and its understanding of  the basic principles of life and healing. The practical work is gentle, effective and deeply healing.

  • Specific areas to be covered include:
  • History and foundations of craniosacral therapy
  • Palpating Health and its many expressions
  • Potency, motility and tides.
  • Stillness and stillpoints
  • The Inherent Treatment Plan
  • The Long Tide as a field phenomena
  • The embryological impulse
  • Wholistic shift, patient neutral and resonance
  • Perceptual skills of the wide field and divided attention
  • The state of balance as a wholistic phenomenon
  • Primary Respiration as a mechanism and system
  • Developing non-reactive neutral presence.
  • Developing classical practitioner “fulcrums”
  • Attachment theory and how practitioner -client relationship opens the possibility of
  • healing deep wounds.                         
  • Relational skills of contact, touch, space, permission and presence.
